Church Life
We meet on Sundays at 10.30 a.m. at St Mary’s Hall, High Street Chislehurst, BR7 5AQ
Our Sunday morning meetings are an important part of church life. They last
about 1.25 – 1.5 hours and are friendly and informal – there’s no dress code! Our
services give time for people to listen to God, to worship Him, to pray together, to
receive prayer for particular needs (prayer ministry). We share communion once
per month usually, and we want to be taught and instructed by God, so preaching
and teaching from the Bible are also an important part of our meeting.
We provide activities for any children that come in the second half of the meeting.
Meetings end with tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits, and time to chat and build
friendships.
Midweek meetings
We have a Home Group meeting on Tuesday evenings, which sometimes meets online and sometimes meets together in person, where we share from the Bible and pray together.
We also tap into wider Ichthus Christian Fellowship meetings:
Prayer & Fasting – once monthly
Bible Stream – once monthly
Ichthus celebration meetings - once monthly
Community and Outreach
We believe as church we are to act as salt and light in the
community, so we are involved in a range of activities, where
we aim to share with people the Good News that Jesus brings
to this world.
Occasional fun days / BBQs
Weekly coffee outreach
Door to door visits and giving out gospel tracts
